Traditional Micaceous Pottery from New Mexico

Honoring a rich New Mexico pottery tradition, my micaceous pottery is handcrafted from local clay and fired to perfection in a pit firing. These pieces are not only beautiful but also uniquely functional, as they can be used directly on a stovetop. The resulting traditional clay pots are a blend of rustic charm and time-honored craftsmanship.

From the Earth

This gallery offers a glimpse into the very beginning of my creative process. For me, every piece of pottery starts with a deep connection to the land—
a journey that begins by returning to the earth to find and harvest this incredible clay myself.
